Getting into the gaming business is a strategy digital content
platforms tend to adopt for two reasons: one, as a way of keeping old users
engaged with the platform and attracting new users; and two, for increasing
revenue. LinkedIn has recently become one of these platforms too, with the launch
of its own puzzle games.
The games are: ‘Pinpoint,’ ‘Crossclimb,’ and ‘Queens,’ and
they are all available on LinkedIn on desktop as well as mobile. Each of these
games can be played once in a day. They also show metrics like high score, daily
streak, leaderboards, and people you know that have played them.
The world of video games is flourishing more than ever- there has never been such a huge number of worldwide players, so much technological advancement in the games, and so much to look forward to for future gaming options. Recently released games have graphics that are nearly indistinguishable from reality, and the improvement of virtual reality will make these types of games the industry standard in the near future. There has also been increased demand for fitness and casino gaming.

complaint to block the merger of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King. After
reviewing the details, FTC found out that Microsoft planned the acquisition of
Activision Blizzard King for $68.7 billion, as announced in January 2022.
In an official statement, the FTC claims to "Seek to stop Microsoft from gaining control over a leading independent game studio and using it to harm competition in multiple dynamic and fast-growing gaming markets."
Vice chairman and President of Microsoft, Brad Smith

"believed in giving peace a chance" but will not back down from
making its case in court. If the FTC's lawsuit is successful, it is unlikely
the video gaming world will see a deal this big anytime soon.
