Nintendo’s new game gives game development lessons

A new game called “Game Builder Garage” for Nintendo Switch is all set to launch on 11th June 2021. The game is priced at $29.99 which is for people of every age. But, do you know that this game will teach you how to develop games?

There are seven major lessons that the game features and each lesson has different steps that must be completed to reach another level. These lessons will teach the users in detail about creating different types of games. Once a player is done with all the lessons, he/she will be allowed to build their own 
game freely without the need of following any template.



The lessons are very colorful, cutely designed and taught in the simplest of language that even kids can understand. However, children might not get some difficult English vocabulary words or might find navigating through the Switch a little tricky.
By now, you must be eager to know which games you can make through the Game Builder Garage. Well, you’d be delighted to know that the list is endless. From a 3D shooting game to a Joy-Con game to be played with friends and a lot more can be developed through Game Builder Garage.

Though there are some restrictions by the Game Builder Garage such as, any game made will have codes to be shared with your friends having Nintendo Switch but, the friends with who you share the code must own Game Builder Garage’s copy in order to have access of those games built. Also, users cannot sell the games players on the Nintendo eShop. Unlike other game engines, you won’t be able to upload assets and art into the Game Garage Builder.

Game builder Garage, in contrast to other game development lessons provided to children via online academies or summer camps, is way more accessible whereas, the amazing capabilities of Nintendo Switch make the creation even more exciting and fun.
