Epic Games has announced a new ‘Now On Epic’ program through which it aims to incentivize developers for bringing their older games to the Epic Games Store.

The company promises to give developers 100% of the revenue generated from user spending for the first six months on products offered via the program. After six months, the revenue will be split up between Epic Games and the developer, where 88% will go to the developers and 12% will be kept by the company.

To be more specific, ‘older games’ indicates games that have been released before October 31st, 2023. Additionally, Epic Games requires developers to own at least three of such games, and that the be “currently live on another third-party PC storefront or included in a third-party subscription service.” All developers and publishers who have registered Epic Games developer accounts will be eligible to participate in the program.
