The company has rolled out these new games for the users in US and Canada only on both, iOS and Android devices. The games are designated a separate element under the category of “Fantasy Friends”. Users can enjoy fantasy sports prediction games and interact with their friends or other users on the platform.
These fantasy sports games are based on the statistical performance of the players in the games, predictions, or events that give them points at the end. These points then make up the total score which brings the users up in the head-to-head match-ups among several other competitors.
Moreover, the fantasy sports on the app will also show a public leaderboard where the top players with the highest points will be placed. These games will also allow the users to create their own fantasy leagues, invite their friends and compete with each other.
In addition to this, Facebook is also planning to launch more games on the platform in the upcoming months including, Survivor and The Bachelorette.
