Meta is continuing to grow its VR market and the company’s most recent move in this domain is the launch of its first ever retail and experience store, in Burlingame, California. The store will showcase Meta’s wide range of product displays along with interactive demonstrations.

The main attraction of the store is its large Quest 2 ‘display wall’ where people can experience a range of Meta’s VR games and apps. Alongside, a big, wall-to-wall curved LED screen displays the content that a user sees in their headset. If that isn’t interesting enough, people can also access a 30-second mixed reality clip of their demo experience, which they can later share with others.

32 Products and Services With the Highest Markup

How does a company make a profit? The easiest and most direct answer to this is by selling a product or service for more than it cost the company. The percentage over the cost they charge the customer is known as the markup. There are many factors a company needs to consider when determining a products markup price. First is the cost of production. How much does it cost the company to make or acquire the goods sold? Second is the market demand. How well is the product going to sell to your target audience? And the third would be what type of markup works for your business? Is there a standard markup for your industry? Depending on your type of small business you could benefit from different markup percentages. For example, service firms, wholesalers, retailers and contractors are all going to have a different industry markup percentage.

Apple now has a new retail location known as Apple Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. What is unique about the company's new retail store is that it floats on water.

The store is Apple's third one in Singapore, after the first one named Orchard Road that opened in 2017, and the second one named Apple Jewel Changi Airport located in Singapore's world-famous retail sector of the country's transportation hub. Globally, Apple Marina Bay Sands is the company's 512th retail shop.

The Marina Bay Sands store exhibits the eccentric look of some kind of a spacecraft or a futuristic theater in the day time. The skyline is reflected in the glass panels of the store in the day light. At night time, the store comes alive in all its glory as it glows in a warm tone in front of the iconic skyline.
