How Long It Would Take The 30 Richest Americans To Make America's Median Annual Salary
Every year, Forbes releases the Forbes 400, which provides a definitive ranking of the 400 wealthiest Americans. Combining all of their wealth would amount to a staggering $2.96 trillion. Of course, the net worth of the obscenely rich is constantly fluctuating based on the stock market, selling and purchasing of shares, investing, and donations. Even life changes can have significant impacts on net wealth. For example, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos recently went through a divorce with his wife in 2019. She walked away with 25% of Amazon’s stock, increasing her wealth by $38 billion. This has pushed her up to rank 15 on the Forbes 400 list.

Bill Gates published a blog on Tuesday to warn people of a potential catastrophe and urge preparedness for that matter. Gates has been known as an advocate of 'pandemic preparedness' as he gave a popular TedTalk back in 2015 to inform people of a tremendous number of deaths that could result from a potential global pandemic.

In the blog, Gates stressed that climate change could be worse than the current Covid pandemic. In an attempt to make people understand the potential devastating consequences of climate change, he wrote "look at COVID-19 and spread the pain out over a much longer period of time. " He further added that if we do not eliminate carbon emissions, we would face a great ''loss of life and economic misery.''.

The Value of Retro Tech

Do you remember the computers in the 80s and 90s? The ones that were big bulky chunks, good enough to perform small tasks which looked mammoth at that time? If you do, then you are in luck because retro technology is worth more than just sitting in your attic, collecting dust.

As time progressed, the technology advanced, and with that advancement came in new gadgets that trumped the older one, which is now lost in time. It has been going on for centuries as well, and when the first computer was invented, it made abacus disappear into oblivion.

It has been a trend in recent years where new technology is introduced. Whether it’s a new system software update, a new phone, a new laptop design, new hardware, or a new gaming console, people tend to jump onto the more modern things while leaving the old ones behind. This makes it evident that the lifespan of these gadgets is short.

Computers have come a long way since they were invented. From the world of Charles Babbage to a world of Bill Gates, computers have seen a lot of changes for generations. Today, the computers that we use in our everyday lives are hundreds, if not thousands of times, more powerful than the first computer. Even our smartphones can handle more complex calculations than before.

With technological advancements, computers have become increasingly more powerful, clearly. But supercomputers are the ones that are on a whole another level. These enormously powerful machines are responsible for carrying out complex calculations even for the computers we use in our daily lives. They are used for complicated simulations involving complex variables and process them within seconds.

The current pandemic has been quite stressful for everyone, and what adds to this stress is the uncertainty of when everything back to normal. This uncertainty stems from the fact that there is no known cure for the Novel Coronavirus.

What makes it worse is how quickly the virus spreads. Scientists all over the world and the World Health Organization have been working on a way to defeat the virus, and one of the strongest contenders is a vaccine.

Millionaire Club: Is it easy?
Once upon a time, the title of a billionaire – even millionaire was limited to the seniors of society. In fact, it seemed impossible for young adults under 35 to even come near the rich category. However, opportunities in technology and the business arena broke the stereotypes and now even teenagers in their early twenties are fast becoming part of the millionaire club.

Take, for example, Kylie Jenner who is the youngest self-made a billionaire with a net worth of $1 billion at the age of 23. Similarly, Evan Spiegel, the co-founder, and CEO of messaging app Snapchat has $1.9 million to his name at 29 while Patrick Collison, the co-founder of Stripe payment gateway has an accumulated net worth of more than $3 billion.

And of course, we cannot forget about the success stories of Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Ma of Alibaba and famous investor Wang Jianlin who not only made billions but also changed our lifestyle with their great ideas.

The many homes of 7 famous people

Many people work their tails off to create security and stability for their family. And that primarily means a safe, comfortable place to live. Of course, once your earnings start to soar, you think beyond the basic home and start to consider other dreams you’d like to fulfill with your property portfolio. Ways for you and your family to enjoy your leisure time around the home, or to realize childhood fantasies.

Bill Gates was always from money – as so many of our rich peers are, in this rigged system. But he lived a humble life while he got started on the Microsoft project, living and working out of a humble motel room off Route 66.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand, comes from the category of ‘childhood dreamers’. His famous Neverland ranch was named for the Peter Pan province in which nobody ever grew old. And indeed, the King of Pop would never get to see old age – though his problems adjusting to adulthood were certainly implicit in his premature downfall.
