The 2024 list sees an increase in Indian representation, with the Jindal and Birla families joining. Hong Kong and Thailand contribute two families each to the top 10, including the Yoovidhyas, inventors of Thai Red Bull, at rank 6. Chinese emigrants feature prominently, like Chia Ek Chor of the Chearavanont family in Thailand, while others, such as the Pao/Woo family (rank 11), Lee family (rank 17) in Hong Kong, and the Sy family (rank 14) in the Philippines, made fortunes after immigrating from Mainland China.

a ranking at 222nd position out of the list of 250 people. Sunak is
reportedly the richest serving MP in history and has a joint £730m of wealth.

2700 richest people belong to the U.S. Although most number of billionaires
still belong to the U.S., in past few years the U.S. share of the billionaires
has been shrinking. About 40% of the world’s billionaire population belonged to
