For example, 200 calories of chicken breast may make you feel full, but it could take 500 calories of cake to have the same effect. Thus, weight loss isn't just about eating until you feel full. It's about choosing the right foods that make you feel full for the least amount of calories.

Gambling is big business internationally. Almost every country in the world has casinos. With the exception of China, most of the countries without casinos are either predominantly Muslim or are remote island nations without the ability to attract many tourists. The United States has more casinos within its borders and on Indian reservations than the next ten countries combined.

Of the five most populated countries - China, India, United States, Indonesia, and Brazil - only the U.S. and India have licensed casinos, and there are only a few in India. Of course, China is a major feeder market for other Asian gambling jurisdictions including the special administrative region of Macau, the Philippines, and South Korea.

The cost of everything is increasing, including our utility bills, but which Americans’ wallets are getting hit the hardest? You may be surprised to find that the lowest prices don’t always equate to the lowest monthly bill for some states. Before they filed for bankruptcy, Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. was the fourth-largest investment back in the United States. However, due to their involvement in mortgage origination, the company plummeted hard during the mortgage crisis of 2008. This infographic looks at the 20 largest bankruptcies in American history, including some noteworthy bankruptcies of 2017 and 2018.

Aside from Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy of $691 Billion in 2008, the other companies that round out the top five are Washington Mutual ($327.9 Billion), WorldCom ($103.9 Billion), General Motors ($82.2 Billion), and CIT Group ($71 Billion).

 Every company has a story with these bankruptcies. With WorldCom's, for example, it was the third-largest bankruptcy, which happens on July 2nd, 2002, and was triggered by a $4 Billion accounting scandal. Auditors had found that there were fraudulent accounting methods being used as a way to cover up the decreasing stock prices that WorldCom was facing at the time.

The Harris Poll’s Reputation Quotient evaluates the reputation of the 100 most visible U.S. companies each year according to the general public. To determine what the 100 most visible companies are, 6,118 U.S. adults are surveyed. Then, company ratings (about 300 per company) are collected from 18,228 adults. Six categories are evaluated: vision and leadership, financial performance, products and services, emotional appeal, social responsibility, and workplace environment.

 Wegmans Food Markets has earned first place as the most reputable company in 2015 and 2019. It ranks #1 in ethics, culture, products and services, and citizenship. The survey also discovered that freshness and wellness are becoming more valued by consumers than convenience and processing. Fifty-nine percent of the public desire companies to make an impact on good health and well-being.

This zeitgeist explains why healthy supermarkets like Wegmans and Publix and active lifestyle brands such as Patagonia and L.L. Bean are prevailing in public opinion. Amazon ranks #1 for growth, #2 for products and services, #1 for business trajectory, and #1 for vision. The public also believes that Amazon has the most momentum.
