14 Countries That Have Full Equal Rights for Women

According to the report Women, Business and the Law 2023, recently published by the World Bank, there are only 14 countries in the world which agree on full legal protections to women. Among them are Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Sweden, as well as Germany and the Netherlands are the nations offering full equal rights for men and women, at least from a legal perspective.

Facebook has been long targeted for criticism over its handling of human right issues. The company is now counteracting by introducing a new corporate human rights policy, under which it is committing two things: providing an annual report on its impact on human rights and a fund for human rights defenders.

 

Facebook says that it will report its “most critical human rights issues, like risks to freedom of expression” to its board of directors, while the fund for defenders will be I the form of offline support for activists and journalists. The company’s director of human rights Miranda Sissons added that Facebook will also continue supporting digital security efforts like “thwarting unauthorized access” to accounts of activists.

Women's rights, equality, and protection have become a serious issue in several parts of the world. With the people around the globe protesting for it for years, we don't see an efficient change in the systems. To our surprise, there are only ten states that provide complete protection and equal right to women. However, there are other countries that support women's rights but not fully; some even do to a negligible extent.

 In the modern era, there is so much that we have to consider when it comes to raising a family. Both the parents want the best for their children and even for themselves, and there are many challenges that lie in the way. But not every country can necessarily provide the comfort people usually seek. With respect to this, there are six basic categories in which people look for the best when raising their families. 

 The first and foremost most important property to consider is safety. If the country cannot guarantee you a safe and secure living, then it's obvious that everything else won't fall into place. Crime rate, general law and order, human rights issues all fall under the umbrella of safety. Nobody would want to live in a country where it feels more like a prison and less like home, let alone raise a family.

 Happiness comes in at second. This is important because all other indices will act as contributors to how happy a family is. A country's suicide rates can provide drastic information related to its happiness levels. The happiness index depends upon how good and proper the other factors are.
At third, we have the cost index, in which the budget set by the country's government plays an important role. This is critical if the country's economic condition is not good and unstable, as that will mean an increase in taxes and the prices of all products and services will become higher than usual as well. Jobs with appropriate salaries are necessary, as this will lead to better income and more chances of equal and well-balanced household finance management.

 Homelessness is quite a big issue in the United States, with the total number reaching an estimate of 4.2 million young adults. It is not only unstable financial conditions within a family that lead to homelessness but also how the particular youth bonds with their family. Fights within the family and poor communication and affection cause a young individual to emotionally detach from their family. Many youths give away themselves to leading their lives alone and hesitate to reach out for help.

Like many other things in this world, the amount of freedom that people have ebbs and flows with time.

In general, it can be argued that political and economic freedoms have been increasing steadily since The Enlightenment – but of course, there are always shorter corrections along the way where freedom seems to spiral downwards in the interim.

Breastfeeding Rights
Currently in the United States caregiving duties are the single biggest reason women give for not participating in the workforce. Certainly some of these women do not want or need to be in the workforce, but things like the high cost of childcare, inflexible schedules, and lack of facilities for pumping milk after the birth of a child are keeping women out of the workforce who may want to be in it.

The United States is the only industrialized nation with no paid parental leave, and even though there are federal and state laws that protect a woman’s right to breastfeed women are still hassled and bothered when they just want to feed their children.
