Celebrating Decades of CAD Success

CAD software has made leaps and bounds in its evolution in recent years, growing exponentially since the early days of blueprinting. What once required physical drafting tables, pens, templates and rulers to get the job done can now be done entirely digitally. Early CAD models emerged in the 80s, however, they were largely inaccessible. High costs and location constraints kept CAD from those who really needed it, such as engineers or architects.

The most impactful generation-defining historic events in the USA

In order to predict what the future can bring, it is important to take a look back at history. According to a survey by Pew Research, some important events have reshaped the way how generations think.

The Silent Generation (born 1928-1945) is the oldest generation that has experienced four different wars, the Obama elections, the tech revolution and a few more. Whereas, the Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964) experienced historic events related to war and other violent acts. Such as, the Boomers cited the two worst assassinations of history i.e., John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963 and Martin Luther King’s assassination in 1968. The Boomers witnessed Obama’s election victory in 2008 as well.

Cocaine History in the U.S

The U.S history of cocaine starts with its introduction in the 19th century. That’s when drug companies in America began exploring other parts of the world for medicinal remedies. It’s this exploration that led to their discovery of the coca plant. At first, people used coke as a nausea pills ingredient due to its numbing property. They also used it for pain relief in sinus medications.

But this infographic goes back to the first extraction of cocaine from the coca leaves. A German chemist called Albert Niemann extracted cocaine for the first time in 1858. The Coca-Cola Company added this extract to their product as the main ingredient in 1886. However, the company removed the extract from their products in 1903.

Bitcoin is a force that can no longer be ignored.  Chances are, you have some friends and acquaintances telling you that it is a good idea to buy, and by now you’re frustrated that you may have missed a good deal, as it has been on the rise lately.  The question is - why did it rise so much recently?

Most people don’t realize that Bitcoin first started in the days following the housing market crisis, back in 2009.  Following its start was Pizza Day, back in 2010 where an individual used 10,000 BTC to pay for 2 pizzas (that would be over $557 million at the time of this post).
