July 17th, 1955 is a memorable day in history of animation and theme parks. On this day under direct supervision of Walt Disney was the official opening of the Disneyland theme park in California. The Disneyland Park was immediate success, but, probably, even Walt Disney himself couldn't have guessed, that it would grow into multi billion industry, with five locations around the world attracting more than 150 million visitors in 2014! We have all fallen in love with these timeless characters one time or another, laughed at Donald Duck, cried over the death of Bambi's mother and Lion King's father, didn't want to grow up with Peter Pan, were captivated by Gennie's humor and Ariel's voice, and followed adventures and misfortunes of many other our favourite characters. And, of course, we have all dreamed of going to Disneyworld as kids.
