Have you ever wondered how much the biggest oil and gas producers are making in revenue every year? Or how about how much these major corporations make in revenue every second!? If so, you’re not alone! Solar Power Guide’s team had the same question, so they analyzed the revenue that the 300 biggest energy companies in the world earned in 2021 to find out just how much revenue they made, right down to the second. From there they ranked all three hundred energy companies to find the thirty that earned the most revenue for the year, and ultimately the most revenue per second. To find this amount they had to divide the annual revenue by the number of seconds in a year, which comes out to be 31,536,000 seconds. All thirty companies were found to have earned more than one thousand dollars per second, with the highest earner on the list earning an incredible $11,888 every second!
