Twitter Web App Users Can Now Access Birdwatch from the Navigation Menu - Visualistan -->

    Social Items

Birdwatch is a program that allows Twitter users to identify information on the platform that they believe is unreliable, and users can then provide authentic information for such tweets. The tool has been used to reduce the spread of misinformation across Twitter’s platform. Birdwatch is now making it easy for users to access it, which they can do from the navigation menu of the Twitter app.

Earlier, users had to search for the Birdwatch URL in Twitter’s search bar if they needed to view a Birdwatch comment or share a note, which was a longer process.

The Birdwatch shortcut is currently available on Twitter’s web app only, so only those who use Twitter through web browsing can access it. The update is expected to roll out for mobile devices as well in the future.

Moreover, this feature has been introduced to a limited number of users as it is still under testing.
