X-Mode Social is a company that works by giving developers code called SDK, to put into their apps, that tracks users’ location and then sends the data to X-Mode, which sells it. This means that X-Mode’s code may be in some of your phones too, tracking and selling your location data. Tech companies Google and Apple are trying to put an end to this practice by asking developers to remove X-Mode’s code from their apps, or they would get their apps taken down from the respective app stores.

According to X-Mode, its technology exists in over 400 apps. Apple has given a 2 weeks period to developers to comply with the order, while Google has given a deadline of one week and is also allowing a 30 days extension along with it.

Does Huawei's latest post about facial recognition hint towards finding Uighurs?

According to the recent reports, it seems that the popular company Huawei has joined hands with the Chinese government to work on the recognition project specifically for the Uighurs minority. This project is designed to identify the face patterns that belong to the Uighurs Muslim community living as minorities in the state of China, locate them, and force them to submit to indoctrination. Obviously, Uighurs have tried and escaped the scene many times, which is why China is now working with the company Huawei to find them.

Ever since China started capturing the minority group of Muslims called "Uighurs" and started putting them in the detection camps for forced submission to indoctrination, the minority has scattered its members to steer clear of forced indoctrination and imprisonment. For the same reason, the Chinese government has been keeping strict tabs to locate Uighurs and place them in detention camps to keep them hidden from the eyes of the world.

Ramadan 2020: Fasting hours for Muslims around the world
Muslims across the globe are preparing to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. The ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Ramadan is the month to observe a heightened level of spirituality by worshipping, giving charity to the needy, and fasting – from sunrise to sunset!

Fasting in the month of Ramadan became obligatory in 2 A.H. It is the fourth of the Five Pillars of Islam. During the 30-day period, Muslims abstain from eating, drinking, and sexual acts for the whole day. Their fast starts from the break of dawn- Fajr prayer and ends with the call of prayers in the evening – Maghrib.

However, due to the difference in geography, the Muslims living in the northern areas observe a longer period of fasting than their counterparts living closer to the equator. For example, the residents of Oslo, Norway observe a 19-hour fast while Muslims in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, fast for approximately 13 hours and 30 minutes.

Similarly, Australia and New Zealand will also be among countries experiencing the shortest fasting times this year, at 11.5 hours.

Northern countries often find the conditions of lunar forces a bit unfair and have succumbed to alternative solutions. According to a report by DerSpiegel, the northern town of Norway called Tromso has adopted the fasting hours of Mecca and will observe a fasting period of approximately 14 hours and 30 minutes.
