Ikea has launched a new digital service that lets people take opinions and help from the company’s interior designers in planning how to renovate their space. The service costs $99 for a room and $299 in a business setting.

To utilize the service, you must make an appointment first, then fill a survey that helps designers determine your preferences and requirements. In the final creative stage, the designer will construct a mood board and generate a 3D image of your space where they will put together the materials, furnishing, and lighting. If you want to make any purchases of the items used, the designer will select them for you that you will just need to pay for.

How to Perfectly Arrange Framed Pictures on a Wall

A home with empty walls seems just like that— incomplete. It doesn't matter if you have recently shifted to a new place, or you've been considering giving your entire home a makeover. Art, be it in whatever form, adds a personal touch to your home and also allows you to instantly express your personality to your visitors.

Planning what to buy to go on your walls can be tricky. And once you've had what you want, it can be even trickier to work out how to arrange all the frames. First of all, you need to be clear about the kind of look you want. There are endless themes to choose from. For instance, you can go for vintage, floral, victorian, folk, and so many more. You can even create your own theme if you wish.

Setting Up the Perfect Home Office Space

The innovation of technology and super-fast Internet speed has made our working hours easier and longer too! There has also been an increment in remote working thanks to COVID-19. While self-motivation is an important factor in working effectively, the atmosphere you work in also matters. Even in the situation where there is no global emergency of a threatening pandemic, there are many remote jobs available. Many people also do freelancing work which is mostly home-based. Thus, staying organised, energetic and having a good environment can save you from last-minute hassles.

A downside to working from home is that a lot of equipment which you used in-office on a daily basis, is not necessarily available at home. A few examples may be a printer or hey, even the very quick and handy coffee machine! After all, you need some caffeine for a boost. Anyways, coming back to the printer- you may think you don't need it as most of the work is being done in soft copy with online sharing, but what if you have to submit a printed copy of something? For that purpose, a 2-in-1 scanner and printer would be ideal. Your equipment should also include a relaxing and comfortable chair, as the working hours have only become longer.

Picking the Right Colours For Your Home

What comes to your mind when you think of colour? Perhaps your favourite one, or if you have artistic tendencies, you will visualise a rainbow and appreciate the value of each colour! Besides making things more visually attractive, colours have hidden meanings to them. Psychologically speaking, from your wardrobe to the walls of your home sweet home, the colours you pick speak a lot about you and also have an impact on the way you think and feel.

When it comes to the walls of your home, make sure you own them- treat each one of them as a canvas! Bring out the artist and designer in you by thinking about which colour would go for which room! For example, the colour red is known to boost appetite, so you can get your dining room walls painted a brilliant red! On the other hand, you'd rather want a calm and soothing shade in your bedroom, something that drifts you to sleep easily, and gives you the sweetest dreams. If you have a game or hobby room, you might want to go with orange as it is the most enthusiastic colour out there.
