Drawing tablet manufacturing company Wacom has recently announced its first OLED drawing tablet “Movink 13.” Walcom claims Movink is its thinnest and lightest portable display drawing tablet yet.

Movink is available for purchase on Wacom’s website, priced at $750. It comes with a full HD 13.3-inch Samsung OLED display. As compared to Wacom’s LED-based offerings, the OLED is more advantageous due to the absence of a backlight, which results in lack of light leakage and excess heat. The OLED display also adds to a more compact form of the tablet.

When it comes to Movink’s weight, it is only 420 grams, which makes it 55% lighter than the Wacom One 13 touch, which is a similar size; and even lighter than Apple’s existing iPad Pro model that is almost the same thickness. Movink’s thickness ranges between 4–6.6mm, which is 66% thinner than the Wacom One 13 touch.

The tablet’s cable system is simple: a single USB-C to USB-C cable that works for power as well as connectivity. It is also equipped with an additional USB-C port, in case further power is required. Movink 13 features two customizable built-in buttons, each on either side of the device, for functions like toggling touch on and off.

HMD - Nokia’s parent company, is collaborating with Mattel to launch a Barbie-branded flip phone coming July. There is no information about the device’s pricing and features as of yet, but what is certain is that it is going to be the iconic flip phone from the old days, and not a smartphone.

This collaboration is part of HMD’s new project that aims to move away from selling its products under the brand name Nokia, and selling them under its own name instead. As part of this new venture, HMD plans to create multiple partnerships with other companies, and Mattel happens to be the first one.

Apple is reportedly launching a new security feature that it has been testing as part of the iOS 17.3 which will be out next week. The feature, called ‘Stolen Device Protection’ is designed to strengthen the iPhone’s protection against hijack attempts to steal user’s Apple ID and any financial information on their device.

More specifically, the feature would prevent the thief from breaking into an iPhone via user’s passcode. Instead, Face ID or Touch ID will be required to unlock the device, and the thief may even have to wait about an hour to make any changes to the user’s data. This means that getting access to sensitive information or wiping out the phone data would be a difficult task.

One of the major additions to the iPhone 15 lineup is a USB-C charger in place of the Lightning connector. The USB-C ports for the premium models would be USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3 at minimum, while the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models would support USB 2.0.
