Twitter users didn’t disappoint and managed to give the tweet more than 20,000 likes, which most likely means that Microsoft would be fulfilling its promise.

 

 

Clippy made its first appearance with the launch of Office 97 and was the icon for offering help and tips for using Office. However, in 2001, with the release of Office XP, Clippy was taken back from Office by the software giant.
