You Can Now Pin a Timeline of Latest Tweets on Twitter - Visualistan -->

Twitter is enabling its users to access and sort the latest tweets from people they follow, using a new pinning option. The ‘pin your latest timeline’ option will display your timeline as a swipeable, permanent alternative feed.

While Twitter already has a timeline sorting option for a reverse chronological tweet feed, being able to create a separate, real-time stream of your latest tweets will further help avoid the algorithm sorting.

Twitter had also released a similar option back in October, which allowed switching between the timelines of Top Tweets or Latest Tweets. Based on the same format, the platform is now letting users create a swipeable ‘Latest’ feed.

Considering the fact that the switching feeds option hasn’t been much of help, the new update will likely calm down some Twitter users who have been complaining about the platform’s algorithm-defined feed.
