Twitter is currently testing a new video reply option on iOS, with which users can respond to tweets with a full-screen video or image. The original tweet will be embedded in the image or video screen.

 


Twitter has been testing this option since last month at least, and has created it in a similar way that Fleets worked. This feature is a little different from Fleets and provides a unique Tweeting experience.

 

Additionally, an improved text editing option for Tweets is also being tested, with which you can post tweets in different colors, to give them more presence.

 


Twitter has been focusing on visuals and engagement with its recent updates, including the option of displaying full sized images in feeds, which was launched some time back only. Moreover, Twitter’s updated Explore feed also aligns with an enhanced visual experience, as it lets you scroll vertically through full-screen tweets.

 


It wouldn’t be wrong to say that TikTok has influenced Twitter to pay more attention to visuals and engagement. TikTok is currently on its way to reaching 1.5 billion users, which is 7x more than Twitter’s current audience.
