Twitter adds new features for Spaces

While the users are awaiting the launch of a dedicated tab for Twitter Spaces on the app, the company keeps on rolling out new features and tweaks in order to enhance the overall experience. Twitter Spaces are likely to increase the presence of an audio meeting room in the app.

The social media giant has recently added a new “raised hand” emoji in the Twitter Spaces which will be available to the hosts, co-hosts, and speakers in case of any question. This will prevent overcrowding of everyone trying to speak resulting in annoying interruptions in the room.

The raised hand emoji will appear at the top right of the profile bubble of anyone who uses it. Moreover, the raised hand emoji won’t disappear, unlike other emojis that do after a short time. the raised hand emoji will only disappear if the user chooses to remove it or unmute their mic to speak up.
It is surely a handy feature that can prevent unwanted interruptions in the chat room. Even though it is a small addition but, these minor changes add to a refined experience.

In addition to the emoji feature, the company says that its voice-changing feature is available for 50 percent of iOS users. In the previous month, Twitter announced its Voice Transformer tool for Spaces however, the test pool has expanded over time.

The idea of launching a voice-changing feature is to let the users control how they sound. This will boost their confidence while talking since most of the people are not satisfied with how they sound on calls.
