All hell has broken loose in the recent weeks between the Israelis and Palestinians. After consecutive ferocious clashes between the Palestinian protestors and Israeli police, things got even worse as Israel decided to nuke the Hanadi Tower in Gaza that was believed to be the office and apartment of the people of Hamas.
To retaliate, the other group fired over 130 projectile rockets towards the main cities of Israel that include Beersheba, Ashkelon, and Tel Aviv. The majority of these projectile missiles were intercepted by the missiles launched from the Iron Dome of Israel however horrific footage on social media was posted that showed a catastrophic battle of the missiles in the sky as sirens resounded all over the area.

However, the Defense Minister of Israel replied that ‘This is just the beginning’ of these missile strikes meanwhile the Hamas Leader warned that they are ready to retaliate and fire back. It is saddening to see that how many people have lost their innocent lives due to the extreme tensions and violence between these two countries.
According to the data provided by the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), 5,600 Palestinians have died since 2008 in this conflict with over 115,000 were badly injured. On the other hand, 250 Israelis lost their lives with over 5,600 injured.

Violence and consistent encounters between these two parties have resulted in major death and injuries. In 2014, Israel conducted Operation Protective Edge in Gaza after three teenagers in murdered which resulted in causing over 2000 deaths and more than 28,000 Palestinians being injured.
