WhatsApp's new updated version 2.20.196.8 has come out. All the new features of the app are currently under development.
The foremost feature is the option of multiple devices. WhatsApp is testing the possibility of using the same WhatsApp account on 4 devices. A UI is being created by the social media company to manage all linked devices. Once this option is enabled, the Linked Devices section will appear in the app. It will allow users to add a new device and all linked devices will be reported to their WhatsApp account.
The other feature is the Advanced Search Mode. WhatsApp is still working on improving the UI for the Advanced Search Mode that will help users to search for a specific message type.
The features are reportedly under development and will be released by the company in the near future.
