People adapting to the new 'normal'
The entire globe has been quarantined for the past three months. Initially, people face many problems such as shopping for necessities, working from home and many more. However, with time, many of them have settled down and found out ways to cope up with quarantine stress.
According to the consumer’s data during the months of quarantine, it has found out the people have been fulfilling their basic needs through online shopping. Where the government of states are planning to reopen businesses and make things a bit better, people have already figured out ways to adjust themselves in the new ‘normal’.

Following four basic needs were highlighted that consumers purchased the most during the lockdown,

  1. Comfy goods such as lounge-wear, candles, pajamas, masks, slippers, etc.
  2. Creativity tools/gadgets including, drone cameras, gaming PC/laptops, smart led TVs, musical instruments, etc. 
  3. Productivity items, for example, video conferencing, inkjet cartridges, and multipurpose laptops, study chairs and tables, etc. 
  4. Practical products, cargo shorts, lawn mowers and its accessories, pet accessories, etc. 
This might be not a great time for everyone around the world, but people have steadily started to blend into the new routine and environment. With the high online buying rate of consumers, the advertising companies should promote useful products that catch the attention of potential buyers.
