England vs Wales: 6 Nations History
I was born to an English mother and a Welsh father so I always find myself torn at this time of year. I originally set out to simply do some reading into the history of the two teams' head to heads, but I became a little obsessed admittedly. Whilst researching I found some interesting patterns within the data, so I set about sketching it out, and this infographic is the result.

I found that by using the score difference of each meeting since 1883 (the first in the history of the tournament) it was a lot easier to see when each team was on a winning streak. This got me interested in what these peaks and troughs in performance could be attributed to, so I added key events, changes in coaching staff and captains to give an idea of the internal and external factors at play. Needless to say, the results appear almost as 50/50 as me.
