A ransomware attack affected Garmin services, causing them to malfunction, until late Wednesday. The Garmin wearables that help athletes keep track of their performances, are now syncing data again, according to The Verge. 


Garmin users have reported on Twitter that the data collected from their wearables is now appearing in the Garmin Connect app on their smartphones. The app is, however, still reporting server maintenance.
