8 Cities with Skyscraping Buildings

According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the most skyscrapers that are more than 200 meters tall are located in the metropolis of Shenzhen in the southern Guangdong province of China. The very first high-rise in Shenzhen dates back to 1985 which was at over 150 meters high. Since then, more high-rises kept building and now there are 120 of them. Each of these skyscrapers reach above the 200 meters mark. Talking about new constructions, almost 162 of high-rise buildings measuring 159 meters and up are in the process of construction. Out of 162, 40 are planned to be completed by the year 2022.

Ever since the Covid-19 vaccination campaigns began, there has been a lot of chaos around the availability of limited shots in hospitals and local health departments, the issues with sign-up websites and other online tools. Moreover, in New York particularly, vaccines are being distributed across several different sites. As a result, people are struggling with multiple registration websites as they look for open slots.

 

As a plan to offer a better solution to these issues, software developer Dan Benamy worked on creating a platform along with other volunteers to pull every open vaccine appointment into one, easy-to-use site. The platform pulls in vaccine appointments from around 40 locations currently.

Helmet laws have always been a bit controversial. There is no universal federal helmet law, each state makes their own rules for who needs to wear a helmet. People Who Make Up New York City

 New York City is known as the largest city in the world. It is also famous for its extremely tall and spectacular skyscrapers- the Empire State Building being one of the oldest and tallest buildings in the world. Remember how the chartbuster song 'Empire State of Mind' by Alicia Keys talks exactly how this concrete jungle of a city is made up of beautiful dreams? So it is no doubt that this city is diverse, with its streets buzzing with people from all backgrounds and career paths.

 It then comes as no surprise that most of the New Yorkers are either immigrants or people of colour.  But does it, really? Out of all these people, only a few, say around 10% have a yearly income which is above $105,000. On the other end of the spectrum are the poor, who actually make up more of New York's population than the extremely rich 10% - a whole 19%.
