Windows 7 still alive even after its support ended

In some cases, many technologies start to decline before their actual expiration date whereas, some stay way long after being discontinued. As a matter of fact, the popularity of Windows 7 after one year of having the support ended remains the same.

Before Windows 7, Windows XP was the widely used operating system that ran on millions of machines. Despite the security threats Windows 7 has received, millions of users chose not to upgrade the operating system.
