The browser ‘Brave’ that was launched back in 2019, is reported to have been automatically adding VPN services to some users’ computers without their permission.

It has been revealed that any time a user has downloaded Brave since 2020, its VPN services, namely Brave VPN and Brave Wireguard, came along with it too, whether the user intentionally wanted it or not. The services are an added, paid integration, which means that they would be active only if a user subscribes to them.

Mozilla has revealed in a recent blogpost that Firefox’s Android app will soon allow users to add a wide range of extensions on their Firefox browser, which is a part of the upcoming Android release.

The support is expected to be launched before the end of this year and will make Firefox the only major Android browser to support an “open extension ecosystem.”

The Browser Company developed a browser called ‘Arc’ that became one of the hottest new browsers on the market. It has been created by Darin Fisher, a software engineer who has contributed to the development of some of the biggest browsers to exist, including Mozilla, Firefox, Chrome, and ChromeOS. After testing Arc for over two years now, and adding interested people in the waitlist, The Browser Company is finally rolling it out as an app.

Arc takes a different approach with the browser UI. Its most unique feature is a sidebar in place of tabs like in other browsers. Arc also provides plenty of personalization options, a picture-in-picture mode, and even built-in tools for taking notes, making shareable mini-websites, and redesigning webpages, among other options.
