According to a study by Surfshark, it is revealed that how long would people in different countries have to work in order to pay their internet bill. As the infographic shows, people in Nigeria will have to work the most for about 35 hours and 33 minutes. This will make them earn enough to afford the cheapest broadband deal for a month. Not to forget, the worst broadband speed is in Nigeria.
Other countries in Latin America are also seen to have the least internet affordability. Moreover, Indonesians and Asians are also required to work for more than 11 hours in order to earn enough money to get a monthly internet deal.
The countries where the internet is the most affordable include China and Israel as people there need to work less than an hour in order to afford broadband services. Also, the broadband speed here is superb as compared to the other countries.
Chinese people need to give 29 minutes to work so that they can earn enough amount for internet bills whereas, Israelis can earn enough within just 19 minutes of their work. This not only shows how affordable the internet there is but also reveals higher wages of people.
