Google’s new "4K Plus" plan for YouTube TV
subscribers has been launched. Now users can stream in 4K on a compatible TV
and set-top box, while also being able to download shows to watch offline and stream
unlimitedly when connected to home WiFi.
The standard YouTube TV streaming price starts at $65, and the price of the 4K Plus plan per month is an additional $19.99.
New subscribers would be offered a free one-month trial and
will be required to pay $9.99 each month after that, and the price will
eventually rise up to $19.99 per month.
Google is also introducing 5.1 Dolby audio capabilities for
YouTube TV subscribers. The feature will be rolled out in the coming weeks,
according to the company, for select devices.
YouTube TV subscribers can now enjoy Google’s latest YouTube
subscription plan and can access it from their membership settings on any
browser.
