Asia has been the largest continent to make the maximum use of geothermal energy in 2019 i.e., 53.39 percent with China accounting for 43.44 percent of the total geothermal heating. Whereas, Europe uses 25.94 percent and North America 16.80 percent of the direct geothermal energy.
