In an attempt to attract iPhone users, Samsung has launched a new website “iTest”, which is going to let iPhone users experience the world of Android through a web app. This can be done by simply adding iTest’s web app to your iPhone’s home screen from the website.

“You’re about to get a little taste of Samsung, without changing phones. We can’t replicate every function, but you should quickly see that there’s nothing daunting about switching to the other side,” Samsung says about iTest.

Even though like how Samsung said, not every Android function could be replicated, the experience is still quite impressive as it accurately replicates the Android and Samsung Galaxy experience.

As part of this unique experience, you can browse the Galaxy Store, change themes, explore the Samsung Camera app, among many other options. One clever incorporation in this experience is the banner image of the Galaxy Store, which displays Fortnite’s ad, the game that Apple has removed from its App Store.

The iTest experience also includes simulated text notifications and phone calls, so you can try a variety  of ways to communicate with family and friends. Samsung has also made sure to promote its Galaxy products through this web app, like the Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Watch3, and Galaxy Buds Live.

iTest is currently being promoted in New Zealand only, although the app is available to use all over the world and is expected to be soon advertised by Samsung via a worldwide marketing campaign.
