The History of Psychedelics

Did you know that Psychedelics are capable of providing the solution to diseases that were practically considered to be very hard to treat? In today’s infographic, we will emphasize the history of Psychedelics and how their evolution has helped researchers reach the present conclusion. Before science took over the responsibility to understand these plants or drugs and discover their true purpose for the outer world, Psychedelics were used by ancient people to make their rituals and events even more eventful. Back in the day, people used these plants for medicinal purposes and treatments. Along with Psychedelics, mushrooms were also famous among people for treating people.
In the 1800s, along with the Psychedelic, new kinds of drugs surfaced, and people all around the world, including the Government, began to debate over the legality of such drugs, as they were largely being used for medicinal purposes in different regions. This debate led Governments of different countries led to end up in the “War on Drugs”. This war managed to take the attention away from the recreational purpose of these drugs for the outer world, ultimately putting the future of the world into danger. Because of such strong legal actions against the Psychedelic across the world, the Psychedelics Industry completely shut down, and Medical discoveries and research came to a brutal stop.

It is now that several research centers and people in the industry found the urge to learn more about these drugs and their potential use. It is almost surprising to say that until now, countries and legal authorities disbarred the use or research of Psychedelics. It is high time we look into the history and learn from its mistakes to make our future better and welcome anything that has the potential to treat human diseases in the most natural way possible.
