It is no surprise to know that the Windows Operating System stays ahead of all the other competitors in the market including the Mac OS. Apple’s Mac OS has always been the closest competitor to the Windows OS for quite a long time but was never able to be strong enough to challenge Windows OS in the global market share.
According to the infographic data, a new competitor operating system has entered the market which has surpassed Mac OS and is now resting in second place. This new OS is the Chrome Operating System which has a global market share of 10.8 percent overtaking Apple’s Mac OS that shares only 7.5 percent in the market.
The Chrome OS had been working to gain this spike and after ramping up their production and aided their Chrome OS and related devices with marketing, it was able to reach this far. Though it still has to go an extremely long way to be a tough competitor for Windows OS which shares an enormous 80.5 percent in the global market.
