How are Americans planning their COVID-19 Christmas?

People in the USA are undoubtedly super excited about the X-mas a few days away, people have shopped a lot in the holiday quarter for their favorite festival of the year. Despite all the excitement and shopping, there are still restrictions to hold a large gathering. Unfortunately, all the plans that Americans had for this year couldn’t be accomplished. The country is still fighting the deadly pandemic and advised the people to stay in their homes as much as possible for the sake of their health and that of others.
Thousands of people gather from different parts of the world in order to celebrate the holy festival with their loved ones, but, sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted all the plans. According to the infographic, we can see some prominent changes in the behaviors made by the people of the USA to adapt to the ongoing situation. 33.4 percent of Americans have decided to celebrate Christmas with a smaller group of people than usual. Whereas, 30.2 percent of people don’t feel like making any change in their plans for the holiday this year as they decide to celebrate the day as they used to. Some very smart people, about 27.9 percent, planned on buying X-mas gifts via online stores rather than going for physical shopping.

Talking about the extraordinary ones, around 14.2 percent of Americans have decided not to go into the Christmas spirit at all this year. The majority of the people are observed accepting and adapting to the current situation; however, 12 percent of the respondents say that there should be no restrictions due to COVID-19 during the entire festive season.
