Set Gmail app as default now on your iOS 14

iOS 14 is here with a bang. The new iPhone update is packed with several amazing features that have made using and organizing the iPhone extremely convenient. Apart from the App Library, new incoming call notification, renewed gallery, and a lot more, iOS 14 now also allows its users to set the third-party application Gmail as default.

Google had just released an update for the Gmail app, which iPhone users can benefit from. Wondering how you can set the app as default? Well, it is pretty simple. Go to the Settings on your iPhone or iPad, choose the ‘Gmail’ menu, and select the ‘Default Mail App.’ Google says that Gmail should encourage its users with the instructions once they have installed the latest update.
A bug has been noticed in the iOS devices by which the users are directed back to the default Apple’s default Mail app from a third-party Gmail app. Apple has not yet addressed the issue, and users need some news or any kind of announcement regarding the bug.

Google seems to embrace Apple and its new iOS 14 features completely. The tech giant Apple is also ready to add support to make Google Chrome the default browser on iOS 14.
