With the declaration of Covid-19 as a global pandemic on 11th March 2020, every organization was shut down and had all of their employees to work from home. Since the say of virus breakout, every company was forced to become distributed organizations and adapt to work from home as a new normal. Everything was so sudden than the majority of the organizations were not prepared for the shift. This transition has also increased the risks of data loss as data was used through unsanctioned means.
A number of external adversaries tried to take advantage of the entire situation and attack the remote workers. The infographic below represents the actual risks of sensitive data loss due to the Covid-19 global outbreak.
