The Top 10 Bicycle-Friendly Cities Worldwide

In this modern age where we are talking about self-driving cars and the rise of vehicle production, bicycles still haven't lost importance. We can truly appreciate bicycles by the fact that not only are they sporty and help keep us fit, but they are also super environment-friendly. They don't let out giant puffs of smoke, threatening the air and the health of people and creatures around them. They help us enjoy nature more, breathing in the fresh air as we roll down some path between the trees or even a modern city, they give us a different experience amidst the hustle-bustle, provided there is supportive infrastructure.

There are a lot of factors to think about if you are planning on cycling. These include weather, safety issues, infrastructure, and many more. Suppose you love cycling, but the place where you live doesn't have a proper path designated to cycling and most of the times, it's just too dangerous to cycle along with massive vehicles on the main road. Unless of course, there is a separate lane dedicated to cyclists.
It's no wonder that European cities make up most of the list of bicycle-friendly cities, with Hangzhou, China, being the only non-European city. Europe is more natural and less urban. This is not to say that Europe doesn't have the urban infrastructure, of course, it has its buildings and place in urban life, but with a lot of space, unlike many concrete jungle cities of the world. This makes it easy for bicycles to be used on a daily basis. On the other hand, American cities are completely absent from the list, as we all know America's booming super urban and busy infrastructure makes it difficult for bicycles to be around and easier for cars and other such vehicles.
