In this infographic, data set spans from 2000 to 2018, and is based upon the 100 most populous cities across America, and compares their rates of fatal police shootings. At the top of the list is St. Louis, Missouri, which saw 36.3 people fatally shot by police for every 100,000 residents. Following St. Louis is Orlando, Las Vegas, San Bernardino, and Miami as the top five on this list. Not only that, but out of the top twenty cities on this list, five are located in the State of California, with them being San Bernardino (#4), Bakersfield (#7), Fresno (#12), Stockton (#16), and Oakland (#19). Last on the list is actually New York City at the #100 spot, where out of every 100,000 residents there, 0.2 people are fatally shot by police.
