Following the tragic death of George Floyd, the topic of police brutality across the United States is at the forefront now more than ever before. From YourLawyer.com, this infographic analyzes which cities across the United States have the most fatal police shootings occur.

In this infographic, data set spans from 2000 to 2018, and is based upon the 100 most populous cities across America, and compares their rates of fatal police shootings. At the top of the list is St. Louis, Missouri, which saw 36.3 people fatally shot by police for every 100,000 residents. Following St. Louis is Orlando, Las Vegas, San Bernardino, and Miami as the top five on this list. Not only that, but out of the top twenty cities on this list, five are located in the State of California, with them being San Bernardino (#4), Bakersfield (#7), Fresno (#12), Stockton (#16), and Oakland (#19). Last on the list is actually New York City at the #100 spot, where out of every 100,000 residents there, 0.2 people are fatally shot by police.
