On March 19, the first in-state death from the virus was reported of a man from Hancock County. The outbreak became widespread first across China, but has since become more prominent in the United States and Europe. While the outbreak is most widespread across China, with thousands of deaths already reported, it’s spread to countries across the globe and the United States is included.
