Even though they have surpassed in many areas of the
professional circle – women still experience ‘gender inequality’ in their
own homes. In fact, a recent study by YouGov
shows that UK-based women are more responsible for housework that happens
inside the home when compared to their male counterparts. And these
responsibilities are despite their profession.
According to the survey below, women were accountable for
most chores such as cleaning the oven, laundry, and washing the bathroom.
Of course, this doesn’t mean the men don’t help out around the
house. However, when it came to the male clan – they prefer the work outside the four boundaries. This includes
mowing the lawn, taking out the garbage, and shopping for groceries.
