There are many reasons why your Apple Watch won’t connect to
your iPhone and when this problem arises you would want to get it fixed as soon
as possible. Stay calm and try these simple methods to address the connectivity
issues you are facing.
Move your phone and watch close to each other
There might be a signal issue due to which your watch might not
be connecting to your phone. Bring the two devices close to each other and see
if they connect.
Check the Settings
You need Bluetooth to pair the two devices together, check
to see if your phone’s Bluetooth is off or any of the two devices have the
Airplane Mode on. Make sure the settings on both the devices are set properly
for them to connect.
Turn the Phone and Watch Off and On Again
This is the first thing most of us do when our devices don’t
work. Turn your iPhone off by holding down the side lock button until you see "slide
to power off" toggle, then slide it to turn the phone off. Afterward,
press the side button to turn your phone on.
To turn off your Apple watch, hold down the button on the
side and then swipe the power to off. After this, hold down the side button to
turn the watch on.
Reset Network Settings on Your Watch
This is simple, just go to your iPhone’s network settings,
tap on the Settings app and then select General. Now tap on Reset and go to Reset
Network Settings. Enter your password and click on confirm to reset. Try to
pair your watch with your phone now.
Reset Your Apple Watch
If you’re still facing connectivity issues, then you’ll have
to reset your watch. This might solve the issue but it will also erase your data. Make sure you keep a backup of all your data before you do this
step.
Go to your watch’s setting app, tap on General and then tap
Reset, after this tap the Erase All Content and Settings. Now go to the Watch app on your phone and tap on My Watch,
then tap the information button and select Unpair Apple Watch.
This should renew your watch and solve any connectivity
issues for you.
