People become drawn to different cities all over the United States for a wide variety of reasons. It could be anything, like a job opportunity, the cultural diversity, the incredible entertainment, or the amazing nightlife, for example. However, things aren't always as they seem. With a big city comes things like heavy traffic and crowds, littered streets, pests, noise, and a severe lack of space of times.

This infographic from Busy Bee Cleaning Service takes data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Census Bureau, and the American Housing Survey to develop a metric used to determine which metropolitan cities are the dirtiest.

Also, there's a lot that goes into what determines a city's ranking on this list. These can include factors like pests (including mice and cockroaches), litter, the population density, the amount of air pollution, and the nitrogen dioxide air pollution.
