It’s often heard in the news of people finding hidden pieces of treasure, usually along beaches or in cliffs. While many have been found, such as The Cuerdale Hoard, the greatest Viking hoard outside Russia, there are still some known treasures that are still to be found. For example, when Forrest Fenn was diagnosed with cancer, he decided that he wanted to hide a treasure chest containing valuable possessions deep into the Rocky Mountains.
