Fiction's Greatest Cars - A Size Chart
We may have managed to build some amazing vehicles in the real world, but the best cars come straight from the fictional universes we’ve grown up with. From the Mystery Machine to the Mario Kart, some cars have become just as famous as their drivers.

This infographic was inspired by the narrowing gap between fact and fiction when it comes to cars. Whether it be vehicles that drive themselves or LIDAR detection systems, books and films seems to be having a big impact on the rides of the future.

The visual line-up of fiction’s most recognizable vehicles gives you the chance to see how they measure up against each other. Take Star Wars’ ATAT – that’s All Terrain Armoured Transport for non-Jedis – which stands at an enormous 25m long. It would dwarf the 0.4m RC, Andy’s remote control toy car from Toy Story. Where does your favourite sit on the size chart?
