The data is fathered using Google flights. Based on a suggestion that the best time to book flights is around 45-60 days out, they used 7 week for the flight price searches.
It turns out the cheapest flight in the world is on Ryanair from Warsaw, Poland to Brussels, Belgium that costs all of $11 dollars.
