Adidas is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and Germany and it is the second largest sportswear manufacturer in the world after Nike. The word ‘Adidas’ is derived from the name of Adi Dassler. The name ‘Adidas‘ is actually an acronym that stands for All Day I Dream About Sport.It would be more interesting to know about the history of Adidas.

It was founded by two brothers Rudolf and Ali Dassler in 1924 in Germany. The company was first named Dassler shoes and later become Adidas. In 2011, the Adidas group spent £ 115 million on research and development projects. Product lines of Adidas include running shoes, jackets, bags, shorts, eyewear,football boots, T-shirts, hats etc. It has collaborations with Neighborhood, Yohji Yamamoto, Opening Ceremony, Isetan Mistukoshi and Club 75.

It targets the people who are male and female between the age of 10-30 and the people who are active and do sports like swimming, football, running, basketball and snowboarding.
