Superheroes Ranked by Their Box Office Earnings
Comic book movies are massively popular right now. While superheroes in film is hardly a new phenomenon, their popularity has skyrocketed in the last decade. The Avengers franchise alone has generated billions of dollars at the box office, with Avengers: Endgame making more than $2.7 billion and becoming the highest-grossing film in the world in 2019. While films with characters from the DC Extended Universe haven’t been quite as successful as ones from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they are still wildly successful in their own right. Aquaman is currently the ninth highest-grossing superhero movie in the world, earning $1.1 billion when it was released in 2018.

Every Romantic Relationship in the Universe of Marvel

Love, as they say, makes the world go' round.' They also claim real love goes rarely smoothly. This is certainly true of the relationship-based Marvel Universe, starting with the flagship title The Fantastic Four, which broke from the company's tradition of publishing monster titles to display a family of explorers.

The family dynamics involving these four personalities brought something new to the pages of the comics— a romance between an aloof scientist and a young woman who grew up to learn the full extent of her power, a flawed thing that couldn't completely believe in the love he discovered, a brash young man who often lets his heart overrule his common feeling.

The fresh and distinct approach to stories brought a range of interactions to life, romantic and otherwise, which distinguished the emerging Marvel Universe. Happy marriages, bitter breakups, triangles of love, weddings of surprise and clandestine affairs. At least one stalker at gunpoint has been searching for her twisted vengeance.

There are fathers and children who have a good relationship with each other— and those who late in life learn about their connections with each other. And there are men like brothers who just can't see eye-to-eye, and there's a bitter debate between them that attracts throughout the worldwide superhero society, wrecking painfully long-standing relationships as each is compelled to take sides. Here are 19 relationships that the Marvel Universe has always changed, and one that has almost destroyed it.

The Evolution Of Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers debuted in the pages of Marvel Comics more than 50 years ago. In that time she has gained and lost fantastic superpowers and fought alongside many of the iconic superhero teams. She’s also been known as Ms.

Marvel, Binary, Warbird, and Captain Marvel. Her upcoming solo film, Captain Marvel, marks her first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where she is one of the most powerful superheroes—if not the most powerful superhero.

That’s because Captain Marvel has unbelievable strength, speed, and can fly. (Even in space!) Plus she can shoot energy from her hands and maybe even travel through time. So that’s pretty cool. How she got there is also pretty cool, so let’s look at how Carol Danvers evolved to become Captain Marvel!
