Factors that have caused numerous declines to country democracy scores in recent years include Events such as the war in Ukraine and restrictive, long-lasting COVID-19 measures. Since the source report first began tracking scores in 2006, the global average has fallen from 5.52 to 5.29.

The Tallest Buildings on Every Continent
For nearly 40 years, the Empire State Building in New York, NY held the title of world’s tallest building. Skyscrapers have advanced so much since it was completed in 1931 that the Empire State Building is no longer even one of the five tallest buildings in New York City. As other countries raced to construct what could be dubbed the tallest building in the world, many interesting skyscrapers and structures were built. Are There Any Countries Safe From COVID-19?
The spread of COVID-19 is extensive and is believed to have reached all corners of the globe. But surprisingly there are some minute parts of the world that have escaped the coronavirus wrath. The following Infographic shows the countries that have not yet reported any case of coronavirus.

Of course, there are some discrepancies on this record. For example, North Korea has not yet identified any case of coronavirus in their region. However, South Korea contradicts these claims and says that the COVID-19 has indeed spread there via the border of China.

Additionally, the media of North Koreas is one of the most strictly controlled in the world and thus makes it hard to determine whether the allegations made by South Korea are authentic or not!

The situation became more confusing when the supreme leader of North Korea – Kim Jong-un mysteriously disappeared from the public eye. During that time, it was presumed that he was either dead or recovering from major heart surgery. However, he finally resurfaced, calming the gossip mongers.

Similar to North Korea, Turkmenistan also has strict censorship rules and remains free from COVID-19 – as of this writing.

African country Lesotho has also not reported any cases of coronavirus, and so are some nations situated on the Pacific Islands including the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
