Instagram is a platform where people share their good as well as the bad times. The entire year of 2020 has been an absolute roller coaster ride for everyone; millions of people made posts, added stories regarding Covid-19 and how they are dealing with the pandemic. Moreover, there are several posts on Instagram that have the highest number of likes, as revealed in the infographic.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the list topper having the most likes, i.e., 19.7 million on one of his posts in which he shared his sentiments over the dismissal of a legendary soccer player Diego Maradona in November 2020. Lionel Messi shared a similar post where he grieved over the death of Maradona. Messi’s post got 16.4 million likes, and with that number, he secures the third rank in the list.
The post with the second-highest likes was made by Chadwick Boseman’s official Instagram account, sharing the news of his death due to colon cancer. The post hit 19.1 million likes.

On number fourth, we have got Kylie Jenner with most likes, i.e., 16 million on a post she made in April about her boyfriend, Travis Scott’s birthday with the caption “happy birthday to the dad of the year”. Furthermore, in March, she posted a picture of her daughter that got 15.3 million likes, and another video with the caption “don’t be afraid mommy” garnered 14.5 million hearts. Another picture posted by Kylie Jenner, all dressed up with Travis Scott received 14.2 million likes. Out of the top ten, four Instagram posts with the most likes were made by the youngest billionaire. Collectively, all four of these posts account for 60 million likes.

Others in the list include Ariana Grande’s engagement announcement post and Lebron Jame’s post for late NBA Star, Kobe Bryant.
